T. tenuicollis Boulenger, 1916Synonyms: Triodontophorus popovi Ershov, 1931. General:. Mouth collar flattened. Submedian papillae short, conical. Numbers of elements of ELC and ILC 50-52. Buccal cavity oval, wider than long. Upper edge of esophageal teeth with many small to medium denticulations. Cuticle strongly serrated in cervical region. Male: Body length 19.0-20.0 mm. Esophagus length 972-978. BC width 129, depth 111-116. Spicules lengh length1.134-1.136, Gubernaculum length 252-264. Dorsal ray length 231-248. Dermal collar poorly developed on ventral side of genital cone. Appendages of genital cone undeveloped. Female: Body length 19.5-20.1 mm. Esophagus length 0.969-1.15 mm. BC width 129-136; depth 109-115. Anterior end to anterior deirids 891. Vulva to tail tip 586-599. Anus to tail tip 129-136. Egg size 84-98 x 41-49. Hosts: Equus caballus, E. asinus,E. caballus x E. asinus, E. przewalskii, E. hemionus, E. burchelli Locality: cecum, colon. Distribution: cosmopolitan.
