General: Posterior edge of MC situated at anterior edge of BC. Amphids projects above MC surface. Tip of submedian papillae spindle-shaped, about 4 times as long as thick. Stalk of submedian papillae longer than broad. ELC markedly less numerous (26 -28 against 50-60 ) and longer than ILC. Elements of ELC longer than broad. Tips of elements of ILC rounded. Insertion point for posterior ends of elements of ILC on anterior edge of buccal capsule. Walls BC are concave. posterior ring of BC wall offset. Buccal cavity cylindrical. Dorsal gutter not apparent.. Esophageal funnel small, with thin cuticular lining. Excretory pore posterior to NR. Anterior deirids near middle of glandular esophagus. Esophagointestinal valve not elongated. Male: Body length 9,5-12,0 mm. Esophagus length 80-91. BC width 110-164, depth 50-60. Distance from anterior deirids to head end 454-675, from excretory pore – 431-675, from nerve ring 401 -506. Spicules pick-shaped, their length 1,75-1,89 mm. Gubernaculum length 240-268. Dorsal ray length 574-789. Ventral rays shorter then laterals. Externodorsal rays origin at junction of dorsal and laterals rays. Dorsal to vent genital cone bears paired, bi-lobed, bubblelike opaque genital appendages through each of which passes a single. The genital appendages also bear tiny nipplelike points. Female: Body length 13-14 mm, length of esophagus 800-910, width of BC 140-176, depth 48-56. Distance from anterior deirids to head end 438-686, from excretory pore – 412-690, from nerve ring 398-544. Vagina length 600-700, distance from vulva to tail tip 400-550, from anus to tail tip — 200-270, eggs size 92-104x44-48. Tail digitiform. Hosts: Equus caballus, E. asinus,E. caballus x E. asinus, E. przewalskii, E. hemionus, E. burchelli Locality: cecum, colon. Distribution: cosmopolitan.
