Taxonomy, classification, morphology, zoogeography, and bionomy of grasshoppers and locusts (Orthoptera).

Taxonomic and faunistic study of Orthoptera of Ukraine, protection of rare species, and elaboration the methods of pest control.

Identification, morphology, phylogeny, evolution, systematics, distribution, and zoogeography of pygmy locusts (Orthoptera: Tetrigidae).

Insect diversity and nature conservation.
