RESEARCH INTERESTS

Tetranychid mites – pests of the fruit and vegetable crops as well as various ornamental plants, their taxonomy, biodiversity and ecology. Fauna of tetranychid mites of Ukraine. The mechanisms of species complexes formation for phytophagous mites in green plantations of urban areas.

 

RESEARCH PROJECTS:

Since 2016 — Species diversity and some ecological features of tetranyhid mites (Acariformes, Tetranychidae) of Ukrainian Carpathians.

2014–2015 — Tetranychid mites (Tetranychoidea) of the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve (Ukraine).

2011–2013 — Biodiversity of mites of the subfamily Tetranychoidea of the Middle Dnieper area of Ukraine.

2010 — Tetranychid mites – pests of green plantations of megalopolis. Co-author: Igor Akimov.

2008 — The mechanisms of species complexes formation in phytophagous mites of green plantations of urban areas.

2007 — Tetranychid mites of grassy complex in Kyiv city.
